My son may have Landau-Kleffner Syndrome. What is the best way to treat this?

We have taken our son to seen Dr. Chen at Riley Children's Hospital where he had an overnight eeg done that showed seizure activity. He is scheduled for an mri on Mon. the 7th of Nov. He has lost his speech and the sometimes he does not understand when we talk to him. Dr. Chen said she may refer us to Dr. Michael Smith in Chicago. Has he had any experience with LKS?
